What is the International Nuts Contract (INC)?

The International Nuts Contract is a walnut tree investment scheme through which you acquire genuine ownership of organic Chandler walnut trees and receive a long-term share of the proceeds from walnuts and, later, walnut timber.


The trees are located on organic walnut plantations in Serbia and Croatia, which boast an ideal climate, fertile soil and professional management.


DSW Sachwerte handles all operational tasks – from planting and maintenance to the insured harvest and marketing – and distributes the proceeds to you in a transparent manner.

  • The International Nuts Contract is an investment in organic walnut trees, whereby you own actual trees and share in the long-term returns from walnuts and, in the future, walnut timber.

    The plantations are managed by DSW Sachwerte AG, which has an experienced agricultural team, so you can invest passively whilst we take care of the plantations.

  • You will own 100% of your walnut trees; DSW Sachwerte AG will handle the professional maintenance, insurance and marketing of the plantations under a management agreement.

  • The walnuts are harvested from October to November. From the fourth year onwards, the proceeds – after deduction of management costs – will be distributed to you on a pro rata basis every February, with full transparency.

  • The International Nuts Contract’s organic walnut plantations are established in prime locations across Serbia and Croatia, where the climate and soil provide ideal growing conditions for walnut trees.   • For established walnut trees, typical harvest yields and total revenues are calculated over a period of around 35 years, based on historical data. However, these figures are not guaranteed; actual results may vary.

  • There is no guarantee of returns or capital protection. The long-term demand for walnuts is attractive, but like any investment, this one is subject to market, natural and operational risks.

  • Chendler walnut trees have historically proven to be a hardy, high-yielding crop; however, any investment carries risks, including the partial or total loss of the capital invested. Our plantations are insured and our sites are carefully selected; nevertheless, natural events, market risks and operational risks cannot be entirely ruled out.

  • You can get started with as few as 4 organic walnut trees, which costs around 2,500 euros.
